Your online outfit assistant.
Trying to pull together an outfit can be frustrating and time consuming. People with busy lives would often struggle to find an outfit for particular events and occasions, in amidst of their demanding schedules. This would require time and effort to browse on various clothing websites for the “perfect” outfit.
For this project, I designed an InVision app prototype and coded a website using HTML, CSS and Javascript demonstrating key features. MyRunway is designed to incorporate various clothing brands, whether it be high street or online retailers, such as Topshop, Missguided, River Island etc. The idea of an all-in-one platform eliminates the hassle of browsing on numerous websites/ apps. The aim is to speed up the process of finding an outfit, with features that I have designed such as ‘4 ways to wear’ or a ‘tinder style’ swipe feed to gather style inspiration, essentially giving customers the ability to visualise different fashion brands in one outfit. ‘Metail’ is an integrated concept within MyRunway, giving online shoppers the confidence to buy, love and look their best in their chosen garments. This experience creates a ‘MeModel’ that looks similar to the customers shape and size, with just three body measurements. Therefore, helping users to find their perfect fit based on style preferences and to accurately picture the look of their potential outfit.
